The Wall of Hope | Canvas

The Western Wall used to be described as the wall of tears, due to the many tears that would flow from its visitors throughout the many centuries since the destruction of the Beis Hamikdash.

Meanwhile, slowlly the Kotel murphed into the wall of Hope, with all the tears, come too tears of joy, thanking the allmighty for the ability to pray there with high hopes for our imminent redemption.
