When my mind is moody

When my mind is moody
My spirit so gloomy

All I offer is a frown
Where leaves are brown

Flowers are all dried
Earth is going to be fried

Water is murky pitch black
Life gives me no slack

A joke I can't crack
Nothing seems in track

I am traveling alone
A tunnel I've known

From way back then
When will it end, when

But...

My heart still ticks
My mind still picks

A red jelly bean
Over a yellow or green

Slice of Pizza with Cheese
Over broccoli and peas

I would still want rather
A giggle, laughing chatter

Carry the flag of a winner
At a nice cozy dinner

Because there is a light
At the end of a plight

All that is needed
My will to switch it

With the help of Hashem
Let it be now, Amen!
